Workshops can easily update the software for tachographs and tools for data analysis, such as the OPTAC3 web-based tachograph analysis system.
The SE5000 Smart 2 tachograph has a GNSS function that automatically records when national borders are crossed without any action being required on the part of the driver. The tachograph has an integrated Bluetooth/ITS interface, which gives drivers control over their personal data and allows external devices such as smartphones to access the tachograph for downloading data.
